Things to be thankful for in the U.S.

Things to be thankful for in the U.S. (at least un the rural Midwest). In no particular order:

1. Public transit strikes are rare
2. Ice
3. Wide toilet seats (or toilet seats at all)
4. Normal flushers on toilets
5. The "at" sign on keyboards
6. Personal space
7. Air conditioning
8. Big showers
9. Lotion in hotels
10. Readily available Internet
11. Dinner rolls that don't require a chisel
12. Fewer crazy scooter drivers (and fewer crazy drivers in general)
