Cinque Terre and Florence

We spent a night in the Cinque Terre (say: chink-way tear-ah) in northwestern Italy in the tiny town of Manarola. We had to haul our suitcases up a steep hill to get to our room, but the view was worth it 10 times over. (photos to come!) We hiked some of the trails in the area and enjoyed a fun lunch (our waiter told me my mother is very, very beautiful) and a grocery dinner with local wine. It was a relaxing day.

Now we are in Florence. I can't begin to type on an iPhone all the stuff w e have done. More to come!
